5 awards go to #GamesCapitalBerlin

What an evening, what a venue, what games! On the evening of May 14, 2025, the German Computer Game Award 2025 (DCP) was presented at a glittering gala – at the Palais am Funkturm, a new venue for the most important German award in the games industry.

We are delighted that five awards have gone to studios in #GamesCaptitalBerlin. With a total of eleven nominations and the final winners, the Berlin-Brandenburg capital region once again proves that it is at the forefront of the games industry.

Our warmest congratulations to all the winners!

Beforehand, Florian Graf, Head of the Senate Chancellery and State Secretary for Media and the Metropolitan Region, hosted the nominees' lunch in the Säulensaal of the Rotes Rathaus. There he welcomed the finalists of the German Computer Game Prize. Berlin's Governing Mayor Kai Wegner chose the “Studio of the Year” in the evening.

Kai Wegner was joined by numerous representatives from the games industry, politics, culture, media and society at the award ceremony. The prize for the “Best Game”, for example, was presented by the Federal Minister for Research, Technology and Space, Dorothee Bär, who is also responsible for games policy.
